It’s me!

Hey fellow humans and welcome to my website! :) Whether you’re takin’ a peak at my work, or just happened to stumble across my page, I’m so glad you’re here! Let me tell you a little about who I am outside of my camera, but before I do that, I’ll tell you what brought me to this little business of love I own. What made me decide to start photography was actually second shooting a wedding with a different photographer who asked me if I could! I saw the wedding, all the love that surrounded every one and from there I literally fell in love and became so passionate about bringing out peoples love in these little tiny digital images we call photos that we get to keep for the rest of our lives and look back on. It's so important to me to create a GENUINE experience from the moment we start talking to the moment I send off the pictures. Always sending my thanks to that photographer who asked if I'd second shoot, because if not, I wouldn't even know I have this deep, deep passion for capturing love.

I’m all smiles!

I guess the people who know me think that I’m super bubbly and happy. I mean, look at these pictures, can you even tell? ;) I am what is called an “introverted-extrovert” (at least according to one of the facebook tests I took, “Are You A Introvert or Extrovert?”) I mean, I took the test and it made a lot of sense….have you ever taken one of the facebook “personality” tests? I am not ashamed to say that I take them all the time when I’m bored hahaha….anyways if you have, you’ll get the gist of what I’m talking about...at the end of the test it will calculate your results and show you it, then it continues to explain why you are that way. So basically it told me that I LOVEEEE PEOPLE but I also love to be alone. To my surprise it was…SPOT ON. Not sure if Facebook spies on me or something but ever since then I have told whoever asks that I am an “introverted-extrovert”.

I freakin’ love the outdoors!

I LOVE to hike…I just recently moved to Colorado and BOY have I been loving EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND. OF. IT. I have moved A LOT throughout my lifetime, first being born in Washington, then growing up for the most part in Idaho, then moving to New Mexico, then back to a different part of Idaho, then back to New Mexico, then to Arizona, and now!! Colorado. Colorado has been my most favorite place of living thus far. I love the brisk cold weather, the magical snow that falls almost once a week in the winter, the beautiful mountains literally surrounding me everywhere I go, the ENDLESS amounts of hikes I can go on, and the welcoming people. I love the boho and hippie vibe to Colorado too because well, most people would consider me a hippie. I love to meditate and self reflect. I love the universe, nature and everything that surrounds me in this beautiful life. I have such a passion for life, love, and light…and that I believe is one of the reasons I love my job so much. Getting to capture a different couples unique love on a daily basis, it never gets old.

I LOVE to laugh!

Not only do I love to laugh, but I also love to make OTHER people laugh. That’s honestly one of my main goals in a photography session, to get you or you AND your lover to laugh as hard as you can and to really just have the best time. Life can be taken too serious at times. I think we need a lot more laughter and love and a little bit less stress.

On another note, I love spaghetti. It is my soul food. I “accidentally” (at least that’s what I told my sisters) bought about 10 pounds of it at Barro’s Pizza…I didn't even know pizza places sold pasta…the amount of joy it brings me that I now know I can go get pasta and don’t have to go to a sit down restaurant to get it (okay, okay, I guess I could cook it but I really hate to cook, even if it’s something as simple as spaghetti lol) is a little overwhelming I could cry of happiness…and I think my life just got a little bit better. Guess who’s gonna now be getting spaghetti every day?! :D
